Hi everyone!!

This is my first blog. I would like to write about myself. My name is Tomoyo Kawashima. I am from Tokyo in Japan. Tokyo and Missoula have a lot of differs, so I am always be surprising. In order to get strong English skill, I decided to this study abroad. I want to get English skills (especially speaking and reading sections) by when I go back Japan. If someone finds how to effectively study English, please, please teach me too.

I have a lot of hobbies. Since when I was Japan, I like dancing Hawaiian Hula, watching animation, and fashion. I started learning hula dance about one year ago. Dancing hula makes me relax and happy. My favorite animation movie is Disney movie. I want to enjoy Disney movie in English someday. I also like Japanese animations too.

After I came to Missoula, I got more hobbies. I became like hiking, climbing and playing at the outside thanks of Missoula’s nature. While I am here, I want to make a lot of friends and join outdoor activities with them.

Maybe everyone doesn’t know that my made up face and my natural are totally different. I have to wake up early to make up my face every day.

    I readed your first blog just now. It's great.
    I think you're a fairly outgoing girl.
    And we have a lot of same hobbies. For example, watch cartoons,watch Disney movies,go hiking and so on.
    That's sounds wonderful.

    I think it was a good idea for you to come here to get good English skills. Being in a country where they mostly speak English will get you a lot of good experience.

    It's very nice to meet you.And when I finish reading you introduce,that I want to see you dance too.I think you are very outgoing and friendly,so we may will become good friends and I wish you have a great life in US and get good English skills.

    I like Hawaiian music, because my friend joined Hula dance circle, so sometime watching their dancing. I’m very happy because I meet you and same class. I want to know about you! You’re my good friend :)

    I wish to improve you in English Language. I love Missoula too, but sometimes I feel boring and sad because I miss my family. I like to dance and fashion, too. I’m so happy to see you.

    Hi Tomoyo,

    My advice for you is to speak only English, even when you are talking to other Japanese students. It worked for me when I studied Spanish in Ecuador!

    I also like animation. My two favorite Japanese animation films are "Ghost in the Shell" and "Spirited Away." I'm sure you've seen both of them.

    I hope you enjoy the mountains and rivers surrounding Missoula.
